Shibram Banerjee, Inc. DBA Pacific Data Integrators is seeking a qualified professional to fill the position of Informatica Consultant based in Rocklin, California. Responsibilities include: Design, develop, modify, configure, debug, and evaluate enterprise system tools for all functional business areas. Manage installation, configuration and upgrades of Data Warehouse solutions leveraging Informatica technologies. Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Create detailed documents including design documents, pre-install checklist, installation document, upgrade documents. Perform Unit testing, integration testing, regression testing and other validation measures and to mitigate risks to existing environment. Lead requirements gathering and present solutions based on best practice use cases. Mentor business users in understanding the configuration files and data warehouse architecture. Obtain and evaluate information on factors such as reporting formats required, costs, or security needs to determine hardware configuration. Prepare reports or correspondence concerning project specifications, activities, or status. Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design systems and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces. 50% national travel.
Position requires a Master's degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science, Electronics and Communication Engineering or a related field.
