What counts as a "business entity"?
An entity is a distinct business unit, brand, or legal entity whose records you manage in the same Salesforce org. Most single-business customers are on the 1-entity plan; multi-brand or post-acquisition orgs scale up the entity tiers. PDI confirms your entity count during the Forecast Integrity Check.
Why is pricing tied to entities and seats rather than record volume?
Because that is what drives the value. More entities means more complex matching across books; more AE seats means more reps relying on clean pipeline. You pay in line with the size of the forecast you are protecting — not a percentage of your Salesforce bill.
Do I have to buy seats in blocks of ten?
No. The base plan includes 10 seats; beyond that you add coverage in 5-seat bundles at $5,000 each, so you are not forced to over-purchase a large block to cover a few extra reps.
Is there really a free option?
